Optimizing a website to be listed in search engines primarily involves editing
the content of the site and it's coding to increase specific keywords to be
indexed by search engines.
There are two methods-White Hat SEO and Black Hat
SEO
White Hat SEO is the method that Coastal Web Designs
strictly follows. White Hat conforms to the search engines guidelines and
involves no deception. Black Hat SEO attempts to hide text by using a color that
is similar to the page background or positioned off screen as one example.
Search Engines tend to penalize a site for Black Hat.
